Website testimonials
Pettito may store testimonial text, ratings, names, optional subtitles, and photos that are selected for publication. Our team manages these records in Pettito’s CRM and may display published testimonials on the Home page and puppy detail pages.
Website testimonials are stored in Pettito systems and are not fetched from Google profile data. If you ask us to correct or remove a testimonial that identifies you, contact our team through the Contact page.
Delivery quotes and Google Maps
If you request a delivery quote, we send the delivery address you enter and our branch location to Google Maps Routes to calculate a driving distance. This information is needed to quote delivery; choosing store pickup does not require a route request. Your payment card details and Pettito account identifiers are not included in the route request.
Pettito keeps its own destination address, branch information and financial snapshots for fulfillment and transaction records. We do not indefinitely retain Google route responses, raw distances or polylines. Approximate miles are shown only with the current quote.

What this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Pettito handles personal information when you browse the Website, create an account, save a puppy, contact our team, purchase a puppy, make a reservation, or arrange pickup or delivery.
It does not control the independent privacy practices of websites or services that we link to. Those providers may have their own privacy notices.
Information we collect
We collect information that is reasonably needed to operate the Website, answer you, protect puppy availability, and complete the service you request.
- Identity and contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
- Account and verification information, including sign-in records and one-time verification status.
- Transaction information, including the puppy, quoted price, reservation deposit, payment status, confirmation identifiers, and terms accepted.
- Fulfillment information, such as a selected store or a delivery address when required for Pay in Full.
- Your favorites, inquiries, messages, and customer-support history.
- Technical information, such as browser, device, IP address, timestamps, security events, and Website activity.
Where information comes from
Most information comes directly from you when you type it into the Website or communicate with Pettito. We also receive limited transaction and security information from service providers, such as payment, email, hosting, database, and fraud-prevention providers.
Some technical information is collected automatically when your browser connects to the Website. Favorites and session continuity may use cookies or similar browser storage.
How we use information
We use personal information only for legitimate business and service purposes, including:
- Creating and securing your account and verifying your email.
- Showing availability, protecting a puppy during checkout, and preventing duplicate transactions.
- Processing purchases, reservations, replacements, pickup, and delivery.

Payment information
Card payments are processed through a specialized payment provider such as Square. Card details are entered in provider-controlled secure fields. Pettito receives a payment token, status, and transaction identifiers—not your complete card number or card security code.
Payment providers process information under their own privacy notices and security requirements. Pettito keeps only the transaction records needed to complete, reconcile, support, and document the purchase or reservation.
When information is shared
We may share only the information needed with the following categories of recipients:
- Payment, email, hosting, database, security, and other technology providers working for Pettito.
- Authorized Pettito team members, locations, and fulfillment personnel who need the information to support your reservation, purchase, pickup, or delivery.
- Professional advisers, insurers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to protect rights, investigate misuse, comply with law, or respond to a valid legal process.
- A successor organization if Pettito is involved in a merger, sale, restructuring, or similar business transaction, subject to appropriate protections.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, preserve transaction and reservation history, meet accounting or legal obligations, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes. Retention periods vary by record type.
Pettito uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the information we handle. No online service can promise absolute security, so please use a unique sign-in method and contact us if you suspect unauthorized activity.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal information, request access or a portable copy, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or appeal a decision about a privacy request.
Submit a request through our Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting. You will not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

Children's privacy
Pettito's Website and checkout are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. A person must be at least 18 years old to create a purchase or reservation contract.
If you believe a child submitted personal information, please contact us so we can review and remove it when appropriate.
